Aftermarket head units which don't look crap....

Hey all,

Bit disappointed about the HU in my 156 - the radio signal is appauling - on the 40 mile drive to work i have to retune it about 10 times just to maintain a non crackly sound.

So my question is what aftermarket HU's do you have in your cars which dont ruin the look, or are there ways of improving the signal (be good to connect ipod too).

I just went into Halfords to see what I liked the look of and what spec's were available.

Then I pulled my phone out and searched internet for the best price... easy peasy!!

I fitted the Sony X-Plod Head Unit. Radio is now much better and the Red & White Glow from the HU illumination sits nicely with the dashboard (mine is Orange on Black) colours. The previous HU was a Clarion one with Green display and looked proper pony.
