Driveline judder - getting worse
For a while I've had an intermittant judder vibration mostly under acceleration on my otherwise 25,000 miles trouble-free 57 reg 147 jtdm. Can't work out if its coming through the driveline, suspension or the wheels...
This weekend a long trip to Bruges has seen it get a lot worse, with the whole car seeming to wobble and judder. Not so bad as to prevent gettin home, but very noticeable and definately not right.
This judder has come and gone for a about 6 months, but this long journey has made it seem a lot worse.
I use the cruise control a lot on long journeys. Also the clutch seems to get notchy and lose the amount of normal travel after a stint in heavy stop start traffic. And I hit a bad expansion joint on the motorway which sent an unusually heavy jolt through the car.
Any ideas what all this could mean? Does it sound driveline, suspension or wheel related?
Also, any tips on good Alfa garages in east / North London area?
Please help - need to get my lovely car sorted again!
