Hello and welcome...
Its common thing to see the MCSF warning flash up, its what happens when the ecu detects something wrong, a fault code will be logged on the ecu. The sensors will flash up this warning to let you know they picked up... or failed, a quick fix is to hard wire (solder) the offending sensor wire.
It would help us if you can get the fault code and post it here... or tell us under what driving conditions it happens. i.e when putting your foot down? which gear your in? it sounds like its the maf or map sensor.
Ask for the fault codes first, or get a diagnosis cable and the alfadiag software and do it yourself, would be good to get used to reading fault codes.
I had a 2.0l JTS in a 156... same engine as far as i know... with a constant missfire on cylinder 2... would only do it if i tried to drive it hard, and would feel like a small hesitation when putting my foot down... flashing up the MSCF warning... its really common on the JTS engine and there are loads of threads on here with different people doing different things to try and fix it.
Make sure your using 10w60 oil, mine did it more as it was getting low on oil. And i know yours likes its oil.
