Alfa 147 + Pioneer DEH-2300UB; how?
I'm a proud owner of an Alfa Romeo 147 (year 2002 model). Recently my original Alfa car radio was acting up, to the point that the CD reader wouldn't read CD-Rs. I didn't mind really, because I was planing to buy a new one. I settled for Pioneer DEH-2300UB.
The problem is, that I'm not quite sure how to install it. The original unit went out without a problem, the connectors on the new radio and the old one are a bit different, but there is a converter in the Pioneer package. The real problem is A) one set of the "old" connectors don't fit anywhere on the new radio (the upmost line of connectors which are in three colors. Strangely only one wire goes into the middle one). B) the antenna connector on the original radio is a "stub" and the Alfa antenna connector is a "hole". On the new Pioneer the antenna connector is a "hole" also... Can't connect. C) after connecting all I could (the dumbass method; I connected all the connectors that fit well to each other) the radio does now "wake up". No power I guess... (and yes, the car was on at the time).
If anyone knows of any way how I can fix this or is willing to help, please do!
Thank you all for your trouble.
