You really do need to get the car on level ground to get this beast on. It also helps if you slacken the engine damper mount on the driver's side. You will have already removed the bolts holding this to the strut tower but it is sitll under tension/compression so try loosening the bolt holding this to the engine.
It is a chuffin' tight fit.
I got it within about a mil' then drifted it on with a large block of wood and a hammer. Engineers will scoff at this approach and will argue that I should have used a "bloody big" hammer and not a normal one.
