Over the past 3 years, I've invested quite some money in mods for my Bella (1.6, 120bhp originally).
So far I have done the following:
CDA induction kit - better air flow
Supersprint Centre piece without Cat - Better exhaust flow
Remus back box - Better rear-view look of the car
Rotex lowering springs - Better looks and stability in corners (these are going to be upgraded to Bilstein kits)
OZ alloys 17" with spacers - looks and stability
Dunlop Sport SP 9000 215 - Better grip and stabiltiy in corners
Ferodo drilled brake disks & pads - Better braking when required
So far, I am quite satisfied with the handling and performances of the car.
In the near future, I will be giving my Bella a turbo kit complete with intercooler, remap, and gauges; all resulting in 215bhp...
I would go for the car's breathing mods first (especially if the budget is a bit short) as I did.
