The V6 intake mod is basically the V6 and diesel intake pipe in place of the resonator, so its no different to if you owned one of those models at all.
In other words it will make absolutely no difference to what you have now, as the intake is in exactly the same location just below the headlight behind the bumper, and the seal onto the bottom of the filter box is what the v6/diesel have, and is not gonna be any worse than with the std resonator the 4 pots have. infact as the TS resonator has 2 connections/joins, you could say that water ingress is less likely.
Some people take the resonator off and leave like that, so then the opening would be just above the undertray. The v6 pipe (and resonator) act like a snorkel from this
Summary, absoultely zero difference to what you have now regarding potential to flood intake
Hold the rear end slide....don't run wide!
