Thinking of investing in a decent suspension setup on my Gt. As the standard equipment is,to put it nicely, not the best aspect of the car.
Its a bit of an interesting subject to say the least!! With so many factors to concider, ride quality? handling, height clearance etc.
I also love the idea of corner weighting the Gt, to make the most of an already great handling chassis, but the only way to do this is coilovers.
Thing is i dont want it to be undrivable on uk roads!! And then the thought of sport suspension kits!! after hearing some worrying things about the koni FSD kits, ride height issues and the "one strut fits all" lazy koni manufacturing deal etc.. ive been slightly put off.
The KW kit looks a winner to be honest if going for a kit! Then as i do alot of continental driving in my Gt, i dont want to be constantly scraping the floor all the time on the ferry and huge sleeping policemen over in france and Italy!! And with coilovers i could tailor my height which i like the idea of!! So you can see the dilema i have.
Any coilover experiences would be greatly received from fellow owners.
