Clutch gone again
Got a new clutch, dmf fitted 5 months ago on my 1.9 jtd £832 was the bill every thing was rosie till last night ,there was a clunk as i was driving not very loud then a grinding noise then no drive.
The car starts fine with no noise when i press the clutch right at the bottom of the travel i get the grinding noise again seems to me somthing's let go with the clutch.
If it is the clutch thats faulty can i reasonably expect the garage who fitted it to fix it free of charge and claim their costs back from the supplier of the clutch, what kind of warranty would a new clutch have for mechanical failure.
I'm really sick of this car i've had alfas for nearly 24 years and this is by far the worst car i've ever owned,in the 4 years i've had it i've had a timing belt snap at 48000 miles ,replaced the front wishbones, radiator, power steering pipes, turbo hoses, clutch and dmf had leaking injectors and to top it all it was scratched down both sides and the bonnet a few weeks back.
Almost had enough if this is what newer alfas are going to be like.
Anyway enough of my rant.
What do you think then will the garage repair it .
