A more knowledgeable response will come your way soon but from me: squeaks and knocks from the front suspension - wishbones/droplinks can be a problem but are an easy fix but antiroll bar bushes are a pain to do if they're worn.
Absolutely essential in the service history is cambelt changes at each 36,000 mile interval (balance belts also on the 2.0).
If there's a "diesel sound" from the engine for a few seconds on start up it indicates the camshaft variator is worn - not a real problem but should be replaced with cambelt if troublesome.
The alternator is not easy to get to so charging problems should ring alarm bells.
It does look a lovely car, however.
