Great thread, made me smile. New here as thinking of buying an Alfa (going to look at one tomorrow - not this one).
And none of it is slander. It may be liable but not slander (slander = spoken, liable = written)...
Oops, soz, libel I mean-always get them the wrong way round.
Assuming you meant libel-not liable !
I ve said many times I m perfectly calm chilled and RATIONAL (most people on this thread should look that word up !).
Just can t work out why people are making so much fuss over a poss (soz alcooker !) bargain car.
The comment one trader was supposed to have said about "picky middle class types" seems applicable to most posters on this thread.
What a load of girls, making such a fuss 'bout a cheap car !
I dont work for Royal/Royale/Royle Motors (however they spell it), cant really work out how anyone could suggest I do, just because I wanted to see or hear evidence and facts before I made any judgements (please someone point out where I defend them ?)
Few years back, a paediatrician (doctor who specialises in children - paed=latin for child) was badly beaten up by a mob of clearly very stupid, irrational people because they had seen the sign on her door saying she was a registered paediatrician and thought it meant she was a paedophile. Having read this thread I can see how that sort of thing can happen-People should see the evidence and facts and remain calm and rational until they have the complete picture, rather than leap to ridiculous, negative, assumptions and conclusions based on nothing-hell, even a moderator agreed with me !
Perhaps they should move the thread into the paranoid hysteric's lounge ! ?
A bit harsh on Typos1, he did put forward a claim that the car may have been flooded, as a reason for it's low price....but didn't do any speculating. Oh no, Sir.
You ve missed the point-I proposed that the car "maybe flood damaged" as a reason for it being cheap, I did NOT say "its DEFINITELY been under 50 foot of water, its f * c k e d , the dealer is a b * s t a r d whos been done for GBH and might beat the livin s h* t out of you, dont touch it with a barge pole" which was the sort of ridiculous speculative comments most of the people made.
been followin it too...........the car is a dog.......if anyone buys it good luck to them, i certainly wouldnt take the mileage as fact..........move along if ur after one.......there are plenty of decent ones around
its a fair chunk of money to waste, a wrong car is always a wrong car
Its NOT a dog just cos its cat c and you havent even seen it ! lol
And if you want one, but havent got 8-9 grand to blow, this maybe a great solution, even if it could do with a bit of a tidy.
