156 External temperature problems
Can anyone help, new to this forum but not to Alfas (on my third), so I don't know if this is a common problem.
Completely out of the blue my 156 started telling me the external temperature was stupidly high, between 50 and 75 degrees C! Obviously there was something wrong and it effects the way the climate control system works (had to have it on "HI" to get it to stop trying to cool the air). I changed the temperature sensor located under the passenger door mirror for a brand new one from Alfa and it is now stuck on -45 degrees C!! So now I can't get the heater to go cool once it's warmed up.
Is there some sort of reset that I need to do or something, or have I missed something?
Hope someone can help, thanks.
