Some wierd stuff was suggested when I typed in cat!
Anyway, whilst removing bits of car from my gearbox this week I had to cut one of the nuts of the cat (getting wierder). This means that on one side I've got the full stud but on the other the stud is cut off flush with the downpipe so I can't get a nut on it. A nut and bolt would replace it quite neatly but I can't budge the remains of the stud. I've hammered it and it won't shift.
any suggestions on how to shift it or am I going to have to drill it out?
