Thanks everyone for so many quick replies.
Unfortunately imported the car, and didn't extend the warranty past the one year manufacturers - clearly false economy now, as its eating into the money I saved (I'll still be better off than the price the dealer quoted for the car in the first place tho!).
The rear bushes were changed in the service, so I guess this could have caused the tyre wear (tyres are Pirelli P7000's, 215/45 R17's if that helps anyone). Good idea to try swapping the fronts and rears and see if theres a change.
The keys have slowly been deteriorating, first the boot unlock wouldn't work, then one of them stopped remotely opening or closing the car, and finally the other one started working about one if 5 goes - since I told the dealers and they had a fiddle now both don't work at all! (Yep, tried new batteries in both already!)
