Outside Temp meter

Does anyone know where does an outside temp meter on a GT is located? As far as I know its under driver side mirror on a right hand drive. It it a black pin sticking out? It just looks like a locating pin or something with no wires or nothing? why is my car always jumping from different degrees to different degrees and mostly no aircon as it thinks its minus 40c

You are correct the black nipple that you see on the wing mirror is the sensor.

There have been a number of threads on this issue in the past, but put simply you first need to check/clean the plug between the door and car as this carries the signal, if this does not work then it may mean replacing the thermistor/sensor.
