I have an Alfa Romeo 147 2.0 Twin Spark, built in October 2007.
I want to upgrade the original shock absorbers and springs to get a confortable but also a bit sportier suspension, also lower the car by a maximum of 30mm.
For that purpose I have been advised by my mechanic to buy the following parts:
2x Front shock absorbers (Koni sport Yellow)
2x Rear shock absorbers (Koni sport Yellow)
1x Kit of 4 springs (Eibach Pro Kit)
However I have been also advised that Koni FSD Shock Absorbers for Alfa Romeo 147 are suitable for my car specs and are superior than the Koni Sport yellow as they offer a better confotable ride too. Would that be true?
If I use the Koni FSD, would the car come down proportionally to the original height? i mean if the Eibach springs lower the car by 30mm, then the car will lower 30mm in the front and 30mm in the back? So the original line of the car will not get lost... Somewhere I read the the FSD may no have the same proportions of the original shocks in the front and back of the car.
Hope somebody there have succesfully done this and could advise me...
Thnks and best Regards,
