156 wiring diagram

Does anybody have or know where I can locate a decent wiring diagram for a 156? The ones on the ePer and eLearn cd's are a waste of time. I want one that shows where the wires run t/from and with a colour code. I cant believe that these cars were put out without this basic tool. I have seen one in French, but I dont speak French and it does not appear to have the colour codes on it.

You'll be looking for the alfa workshop manual then. All alfas have one that the dealers use but they are like rocking horse poo.

It a shame the Workshop manuals are so rare as working from eLearn is not fun. I would certainly stump up a fair few notes for a copy of the official manual. Given the age of the cars now is this not an option for someone to copy?

Hi,

Sorry but I have to ask this, are you used to read wiring diagrams?

The ones from Elearn are very very good and simple, and they have everything you ask for:

- Where wires come from and where they go (including car part, connector and pin)
- Colour code (although I don't really know what code is to what colour. Never needed it though)

I had retrofitted in my car (mkI) the facelift dual climate control and the full xenon system.
I had to make all the wiring from 0 on both cases and all I've used were Elearn wiring diagrams.

Cheers!

I have the ePer one and it does not have any of this information. I assumed eLearn are the same. I will look at it

ePER is a parts database, so you obviously won't find any wiring diagrams in that!

eLearn is the workshop manual and does have wiring diagrams.

The eLearn disk I have does not appear to have a proper schematic wiring diagram. I have a fuse that is constantly blowing and is unmarked as the fuses have been pulled out of their original position at some stage. It is one of the two groups of 3 that were originally behind or above the main fuse box. It has a blue/white wire and a blue/green wire going to/from it. When it blows the wipers, sunroof. air conditioner and turn indicators stop working. Yet according to the owners manual none of those 6 fuses have all of those functions on one fuse. And without a proper schematic wiring diagram I do not have any idea where it goes after it leaves the fuse box.
