I laughed initially at yet another "147 slays BMW" claim but just thought I'd check if there was any possiblity on the back of Scott's query about engines.
If it was a pre '04 E46 330d it only had 181bhp (later 201bhp) when new and was good for a respectable 7.8s (later 7.2s) dash to 62mph and at 1540kgs it is no lightweight.
The 147 weighs in a good 250kgs less and boasts a standard dash time of 8.4s. However, we know from AONW rolling road experience that a mapped 1.9 easily nudges a real life 200bhp (not that any were Angel mapped IIRC) so it is probably quite plausible for this to have happened.
Sorry I was initially sceptical.
Having said that, the 330i petrol was good for 6.5s and was 228bhp pushing 1405kgs, much reducing the gap for any benefits the map might bring to the 147. Can't see the map - still about 30bhp short of the Beemer - being worth 2s in straight up acceleration?
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
2008-15 New 159Ti experience: overwhelmingly positive. Reliable and fun over nearly 100k.
6/9/12 - 15 New Mito 135MA Distinctive - 100% reliable 37k

Reason: Realised later it must have been petrol "330i"
