Re: |Tires | Eibach springs | Mats |
I got fitted my H&R springs just yesterday and I am posting some pics I made on my way home. I measured the lowering and it is 32mm in the front and 33mm in the rear. I think the car will go 1-2mm lower when the springs bed in and get used to the weight. I made only 70kms with the new setup so maybe I comment too early, but I a happy with it. I lost a little of the comfort, but not as much as I thought. On good road it is pleasure to corner, there is much less bodyroll, the car handles perfectly, it is even more responsive and seems better ballanced. In some corners I felt the car understeers much less. On road bumps, patches on the road or uneven surface you feel the difference in comfort. Mainly rear suspension is stiffer but it is not a drama. I think these springs could be almost perfect with 16" wheels, or with very light 17" alloys.
