Well dear Alfisti,
The time is near
Time to let my bella go.
She drove me for 90000 Km's (appr. at 1st of october).
As I have a great new job, but they will not let me keep my bella.
She is too expensive (aren't all woman?!
But the lease budget is not enough to keep driving the bella. (unless I put in some money myself. *
So next to this, two more major changes are coming up.
1st our new house! (7000m2 of land, stables for our horses(not cars, real horses, lad's), and a driving lane from over 40 mtrs. That's something else then an appartment with a balcony of 12m2...(sorry can't stop bragging about it.)
2nd my new job. I have found a great new job, which will make life (financially) much easier. (it's an our longer drive, but hey
3rd I have to say goodbey to the bella. (maybe I should change the order
) Especially if we take a look at point 2 (an hour longer drive....without my bella....ohw dear).
I have had the luxuery that my boss miscalculated the budget on the jtd 16V. But my new boss is not going to miscalculate. So I have to find myself a new reliable(!), strong, fast, luxe, good looking car. To take me from a to b.
It sounds posh, I know. Not all of us have lease cars. On the contrary, most of you have your OWN cars.
So even though, I get a budget to drive a car from, I am not willing to put in my own money to drive an AR. With pain in my heart, honestly.
I guess I have to go with "less". But then on the other hand, less(expensive car) gives less additional taxes on my salary. Does this add up to not driving an AR?! Yeah, I guess so
But still, I will drive another AR one day. Maybe not this year...
AR's stand out. In design, in status. It breathes and has a heart beat (even diesels....tagagagagagagaga ;-) )
So why am I writing this down? Good question.
Maybe I should start this thread with " Dear Diary,"
Anyhow, what is the core of this message?
Even though I have to say goodbye to my AR 147 1.9 JTD 16V, I always be Alfa hearted, (infected with the AR Virus). And stay a member of AO.
And stay in touch, with the guys here (in particular Mel, Wim, Ivo, Selespeed, the great mail spammers; how is XLR8 coming Mel?)
Virus....speaking of which. A virus will allways stay inside the human system.
Instead of bacteria, which can be killed.....
So I will be around, just not in a Alfa for a while.
But I am there..and here.
So I am not saying goodbye, just waiting for my turn (again)
