It had to be raining didn't it......?
Went to quickly jump in the car this morning owing to the rain, eh, why is the drivers' seat wet?
Closed the door and noticed the window was slightly open, just a couple of cm. Popped the key in the ignition, window wouldn't move up or down.
Dashed to to get a towell and dried the seat. Popped the bonnet, discon/recon battery and noticed the window had dropped a little more but still nothing happening with the switch. Discon battery again, left for 10 mins, reconnected still nothing, window now stuck halfway down. Discon battery again and left it.
To hell with this, threw a sheet over the car and jumped into Mme Pub's car and off to work.
The battery was disconnected Mon/Tues while it was in for a new clutch, and, other than driving it back from the Indie, this morning was the first time I've gone to use it since. I'm hoping that the various forum suggestions of opening closing doors, locking and unlocking with the keys will work when I get home this evening.
All the best
Loose - not close, compact, or tight in structure or arrangement
Lose - to part with or come to be without, as through theft, accident, negligence, etc.
