147 went bang!
Driving home tonight, tipping down with rain, road really flooded and not thrashing it, the car jolted and went bang, closely followed by a big black cloud behind me.
Managed to limp home a few miles no faster than 50, could hear the turbo winding up then it chucked out another cloud and dropped out. This continued to happen and was worse 1st to 3rd gear and ok when coasting.
Assuming it is the turbo, is this likely to be the cooler to turbo pipe or does it sound more like a blown turbo.....or something completely different. Oh, it was remapped to about 185bhp over a year ago (by previous owner).
Had the car about 6 months, hoping this isnt my first major Alfa problem! Thanks for any advice.
