For N/A, you can start with an intake kit, something that minimizes hot air input. Then an ECU remap with a set of matching camshaft from Autodelta can give you another 20+ hp. Add a nice set of exhaust of your choice (Supersprint, Remus, Novitec, CSC, Zender,....), and you'll have one
Alfa in Athens.
Living far away from Autodelta, I decided on a remap which is very good. Another friend here has both remap and camshaft done on his 156 Selespeed, and he's quite happy.
There are others on the forum who have their ECU remapped by other companies and are equally happy. So shop around for the one you're comfortable with.
For forced induction, I can't tell you much from personal experience. Nobody here wants to go that far with so little local aftersales support from Novitec.
And don't forget to budget for a set of suspension (springs + dampers) and a nice set of wheels!
