Bonnet Catch- some guidance and clarity

Hi all,

I was just wondering if somebody could guide me on what needs to be done exactly in regards to maintaining the bonnet catch and prevent it from seizing? Its an 07 GT.

From reading on here I think it needs to be greased / lubed but can anybody clarify exactly what needs to be done?

Thanks in advance.

CJ's Bonnet Catch PDF
It is on a 156, so there may be little differences, but the principle is the same.
