they don't seem to be very sturdy setups tbh, from what I've seen. I notice one of my headlights the left/right adjuster wheel/pinion (white plastic) seems loose on the metal screw, same on a replacement light I have. The metal is rusted so likely corrosion has made it seize and then the plastic pinion ends up turning and stripping it's bond to the screw. Was thinking to try free off the screw and then araldite the white plastic cog to the metal adjuster screw and see if that helps, but it can wait till the weather improves. The screw is still connected to the reflector as they do move in tandem.
The up/down adjuster seems ok though, set the motor to zero on the dial on the dash and adjust gently. If this one's not working it could be the motor is stuck.
