Hi, Can anyone tell me what the problem is with my 156, 1.8, the clutch pedal is right to the floor and will not come back up on its own??

Any advice would be appreciated greatly

My guess would be the slave cylinder is broken, unfortunately it is located in the gear box housing....cheap part but not cheap to fit...try bleeding your system first and see what happens.

Does the 156 suffer from the broken clutch pedal retaining clip problem ?
