GT Blackline & Aluminium Fuel Cap

Just fitted the aluminium fuel cap from a Guillietta on my GT blackline. What an experience! part arrived from Western Alfa on Thursday, opened the parcel and inside was an alfa red box that looked more like a box for a watch than a filler cap. Anyway, opened the box and inside, mounted on deep black foam was the filler cap. wow satin aluminium, sculptured, so tactile! Anyway, disconnected the tag onto fuel flap for the old one and took that off and put the new one on. I'm thinking why on earth didn't they do this from the start: it just fits in with all the other satin effect fittings: mirrors, grilles, door handles. I suppose the fact that for 99.9% of the time the fact that it's hidden away might have something to do with it, but going to the fuel station, it sort of counters the fact that fuel prices are high because it feels good to use. I'll upload some pictures when I've taken some
