JTDm cambelt at 48K - when's the next?

Hi all

The water pump problem with the JTDm is well documented in this threadand the recommended belt/pump change seems to be at the 48K service.

Having done that 24k miles ago, when's the next one due? Have the pumps undergone any design change or are we faced with cambelt and pump changes every 48k?

All the best

Yeah I'm sticking to 48K on mine too. It's not horrendously expensive is it, compared to the potential cost of a failure. I think it cost me £140 to do belt (kit from alfaworkshop) and pump last time round?
