JTD 16v MAF location

Hi guys,

Can anyone advise me of where the location of the MAF is please on the JTD 16v? I beleive I have found the source of a flatspot that I had but in the event of it happening again later in the year when I am towing, I'd like to know where it is so I can disconnect that to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks Tom - thats a bugger - not easy to get to then? I was hoping it would be more accessible from the roadside. Oh well worth knowing so cheers!

its on top of the airbox, not sure if you need to take battery off, you don't on the 156s although maybe a bit fiddly.

you shouldn't need to remove the battery tray... If you knew where it was (which you don't) you can feel for it dirtectly below the relay bracket next to the battery. In which case, undo the two bolts just under the relay bracket so you can move this out of the way... you will then see below a cable plugging in just above the air box - thats where the MAF is. You'll need security torx bits to remove it (two bolts)
