Re: Selespeed Oil - top up cut out ???
Ricey, make sure you are checking the Selespeed fluid level with the ignition on (engine NOT running), check the level just after the pump stops.
The Selenia CS Speed fluid is actually a very high spec synthetic ATF fluid.
I'm now using RedLine D4 ATF Fluid in there.
There is only 0.6L of fluid in the Selespeed system, so a small loss will show up very quickly.
I loose a small (tiny) amount through the breather tube, but if you are loosing a lot it is probably an oil seal on the Selespeed Actuator (not cheap) or if you are lucky the pump or an oil line.
Can you see any fluid on the actuator (look down behind & under the battery).
If it has lost a lot the system may need bleading, which means connecting to the examiner system (main dealer or well equipt independant).
