Hi i just bought my 156 & temp gauge does not go above 50 when driving but will go up to 90 when ticking over. When it goes over 90 it drops back to 90 right away any ideas guys
Obviously car is blowing lukewarm at 50 but nice at 90
It is a twin spark

Thermostat by the sounds of it - common problem. Easy enough job on a twin spark if that what you have ?

Part is 35-40

I bought a 156 last year and it showed those exact symptoms, I changed the thermostat and that solved that problem.
