Help GT V6 Bushes

Hi, I've heard that the bushes on GT's wear out quite quickly but wondered if anyone knew how long they should last???

I just bought mine before christmas and I now have a knocking/clicking noise from the front suspension area, sometimes a squeak as well! This happens when going over bumps and the clicking tends to happen once when you brake then again when you pull away. I suspect it will be the wishbone bushes that have gone and I think they may have been helped on the way by a very large pot hole which appeared outside my house over Christmas while I was away and I then hit on my return!

Also, I noticed that the bushes on the engine stabiliser bar have gone too so that will produce the odd bang and squeak as well. Is it normal for the bushes to have worn like this???

My car is a 54 plate with suposedly 46k on the clock. I'm wondering whether it's actually done more!?

Anybody elses experience with this or opinions would be appreciated.

I replaced a front lower wishbone at 47k as the rear bush had lots of play. I think the other side had already been replaced by the previous owner.
There are many threads regarding this as all 147,156,GT models use the same parts.

Our car is at 70k with everything original. They were squeaking but that was cured with lube at the last service
