Suspension components made of tissue?
Just got mia Bella back from a service - 41,100 on the clock (that's 66,000km for those with the steering on the wrong side).
We've found the problem that was causing the low MPG! Rear brakes were binding.
With absolutely no surprise I was presented with a knackered rear track control arm, this after replacing the rear trailing arms 12,000miles back. What the hell do Alfa make the bushes from? PlayDoh?
Oh, and the Autodelta air filter I fitted 6,000 miles back is blacker than a very black thing. The garage didn't think it could be cleaned and so have fitted a new standard element for now. Anyone got any ideas? I didn't oil the Autodelta element as there was no instruction to do so and I'm aware that oiled elements tend to kill the mass sensor on JTDs.
Is anyone offering replacement bushes for the rear end of the 156 yet?

Alfaless, but mia cuore sportivo keeps beating.
