Strange starting problem
My 147 has been off the road for about 1 month or so with a busted clutch master. Fixed it today (battery had been out for this period too) and started her up, no probs. Drove 20-30m and it gave up and gave me an immobiliser fault, plus several other faults, perhaps 3-4 of them inc ABS and EBOB (I think from memory). Also gave the MOTOR CONTROL SYSTEM FAILURE error too.
Left it a few hours, started her and drove round the block and everything ran perfectly. Was just about to park up and again the same prob reared its ugly head?
I assume something has been disturbed when the clutch master cyclinder was replaced. I assume its some connection to the fuse box or the like near the battery as this was moved out the way as we fixed it.
What would cause this prob and how do I fix it?
