156 Facelift poor headlights?
I've never really thought the 156 had great headlights, but didn't think they were that bad either. Until today.
I've just had a go in my friends new Focus ST and the one thing that stood out to me was the headlights, they are absolutely fantastic.
even on dipped beam the light coverage is brilliant. There are no bright/dark spots on the road .. its as if everything below the horizon is in daylight.
Then when you flick to full beam its almost as if your driving during the daytime! I really cant put into words how good it is.
- its a 57 plate with HID's,
I have 5500k 55w HID's dipped and 100w super white full beam but its the equivalent to holding a candle in front of the car compared to the Focus. Is this just a case of better technology/R&D or is mine just unusually poor?
I'm aware the Focus is a much newer car, but the facelift 156 is only a few years behind coming out in 02/03.
