Some german Alfisti had a discussion you Tech-Gurus might help with.
The 1.6 ECO is almost identical to the 1.6 Veloce. The main differences are: phase shifter and slightly larger brake discs. The Eco does suffer however from modified injection timings to increase mileage but resulting in less power output.
So why shouldn´t it be possible to map the Eco ECO with the Veloce Values increasing power to almost the Veloce level?
The Dutch company Squadra Tuning has a remap for the 105 bhp version of the 1.6 TS. The extra power is 9 bhp which is not Veloce level, but still good enough imho. Further more the throttle response is better, the driveablility improves and the rev limiter is set to 6,800 rpm (in stead of 6,500 rpm)
As far as I know Autodelta (UK) doesn't remap the 1.6 TS 105 bhp yet (This engine version wasn't sold in the UK until recently)
