creaky front!

Hi , recently acquired a 147 jtd, '06 vintage. Teast drove the car all well but creaky clutch pedal, slave cylinder replaced before purchase so that's ok. Noticed creaking front suspension, but after a bit of use that went away, noticed it's come back as the conditions have warmed up/dried up, it's gone away again now we have rain! I guess this is lokely to come back again, is this likely to be a big issue / dangerous to drive whilst craking like an old boat?? Thoughts/ advice welcome John B

You will need to have the bushes and wishbones checked over. I had this on a previous car where it sounded like a squeaky silver cross pram... the noise would come and go until the Front lower wishbones and top joints needed replacement.

Upper wishbones - you may get away with lubing them providing the ball joints have no play
