I have replaced the rear pads on my other halfs GT, but can't get them to regulate, the footbrake is fine but the handbrake is pointing skywards to have any effect.
Is there something I should have done to get the handbrake right?
How did you replace the pads? did you release the handbrake cables tension before? There is a nut under the handbrake lever (you need to remove the leather gaiter) that adjusts the handbrake. You should have released it, unclipped the handbrake cables from the calipers, replace the pads, clip the cables back in and tighten the handbrake nut again as desired.
You write the handbrake is pointing skywards - is the lever loose? Did you clip the cables back into the caliper brackets? or you didnt remove them at all? They mighet have slipped out when you removed the calipers. Check it. And than try to retighten them with the nut.
