In the netherlands a litre EURO95 costs 1,53 euro (about 1,40 GBP) 2/3 is tax, so the real price (and the oil company and petrol station have their minute profit per litre) = around 50 euro cent per litre. The USA with
very low tax on gas (state tax ranging from 4 % to 8 %) is around 3 usd per gallon, but expectations are that at the end of 2011 it will be around 4 usd per gallon (still half the price we in our social paradise wil pay).
Electric or hybrid cars are a hoax, electricity does not come falling from the sky, powerplants need fuel too, wether oil, gas, coal or nuclear....
