Very Ill 147

Just got back home with my 147 limping all the way.

Noticed it was a bit juddery pulling away from junctions, about 10 minutes into driving it has a moment where the power drops well off and it starts sounding like it's running on 3 cylinders. Managed to get it back but didn't think I'd make it, progressively less power at each set of traffic lights I was pulling away from (by the last set I thought I'd had it). When going up hill or having to do anything mildly stressful I got a lot of MCSF messages up and it sounded very rough.

Any ideas chaps? Very gutted right now.

I'm fearful, I'm fearful, I'm fearful, of flying and flying is fearful of me.

Erm, sounds like a problem i had with my very first 147.

I was getting oil coming up to a spark plug which was making the car run on three cylinders , ended up buying an engine off ebay which was worse then the one i took out ?

but it could just be a faulty coil pack or a faulty plug, hope it is somthing simple though.

good luck and the guys on here will give you their opinions too

147 Manual

Time to break out the laptop and read the codes - then you will know.

Could be MAF, coil packs etc, etc

Best regards

If it is coil or ignition related then run it as little as possible as you risk damaging the cats.
