Re: Squeaking brakes
It's not summit I plan to be making a habit of, in fact it came as bit of a shock to me when it did happen and I probably nearly lost the engine shield under the car.
You see, it all happened one fine evening after I'd just dropped off my dad to pick up his car from his mechanic and I was driving back home. I'd taken a wrong turn off of a roundabout and upon realising this, decided to take the next right to get back on course. This looks fun I thought as I entered the dimly lit winding country lane, I opened up the throttle and singing the knight rider tune to myself. DaDa DaDa - Knight Rider - A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist I then, to my disappointment, got stuck behind a red fiesta pootling along at about 15 mph. As I sat there silently seething we rounded a bend and into view came a deliciously long straight - foot to the floor again, wrong side of the road and I'm off. It was then as I'm knocking on the realms of instant speeding ban that, out of the dim lightedness, loomed an innocent little hump in the road and took both myself and my bella by surprise launching us skyward (perhaps a little exageration here, but that's what it felt like). Upon re-entry and contact with Terra-Firma again there was a slight scraping sound (tarmac/engine shield) before my heart started up again. Quick! end of runway brake brake brake. I then sensibly pulled out onto my intended road and cruised along behind a nice Gtv. Sweet
