Help 156 V6 ECU Light CF3 Potential Cure

Got my 156 V6 Veloce cheap as there was an ECU light on. Code reader gave 11+ codes so I changed various sensors but the same codes kept coming back.

Eventually traced to the wire that connects the MAF to the ECU, which had rubbed through on the bulkhead and caused a short, blowing a fuse. 30 mins with a soldering iron and insulation tape fixed the problem.

Prior to the fix the car was a pain to start and was popping and backfiring too Just thought I'd share the fix in case anyone else is looking for ideas or has reached the end of their tether.

The car now runs like a dream and does 30mpg. Happy motoring
