Re: handling in wet weather ?? your 156 2.0 ts
Pascs can probably tell you more about handling & grip with 225 tires since he has them on his car.
For me, 215/45-17 + Sachs suspension kit already generate more than enough grip for road use. (It works very well on track.) Generally the car feels secure in wet, but that's largely due to the tires also. The previous set of Yoko AVS Sport didn't feel quite as secure. I think tires have a lot to do with grip and handling in wet conditions. Also I like the progressiveness of this suspension, especially in the dry. There's just enough body-roll as suspension loads up to the limit.
A friend just installed Eibach anti-roll bars (f&r) on his car which already has the same Sachs suspension as mine. He reported sharper turn in, more bite, a bit less nose dive under braking, and just slightly firmer ride. I'll have to take a test drive soon.
