How to replace the main interior bulb?

Hi guys

firstly...HAPPY NEW YEAR!

One of my interior bulbs went months ago in the alfa, as a new years resolution i thought i get round to fixing a few niggles. I cant think of a name for it, its the main interior bulb which lights up when you get in/out of the car, located above the gear stick, on the roof . The passenger side is still fine but the drivers has gone.

I was just wondering how to get it out and change it without breaking anything?

When I got my 156 the interior lights werent working. On close inspection it turned out all the bulbs were missing. I dont know if yours will be the same for removal but all mine needed was a fingernail under the edge and it popped out. Put in 2 new bulbs and push fit to replace the housing. On first look I thought it could be a major job (you know the sort, what should be a 5 min job takes 1/2 day and the purchase of tools you dont already have) but it was simple in the end. Most manufacturers make these things standard so hopefully yours is the same
ps, mine doesnt have a gear stick on the roof
