Well after its mounting by a volvo, today my baby came back to me
but I just new it would not go well
.....the door was misaligned, and the black bit on the front edge of the rear door was crooked and showing the silver paint in one edge by the windo seal, and the window seal on that side was about 0.5CM away from the door window frame inside and out, making the crooked/miscut black bit more obvious and allowing anyone to fit their fingers between the vertical window seal and metal frame of the window
So back the car went - why though could they not spot these things
- they have done a bodge job, and I just think they are gonna try and bodge it again to 'fix' it, so i dread them bringing it back again, and I hate complaining in case it puts their back up and they wipe their schlongs on my steering wheel, damage something else or something - it will never be the same. The reason (apart from getting the new apprentice to fix it) was summed up by a colleague....
'its not theirs, and so they dont care..'
so I was so looking forward to a drive this lunch time, but am eating lardy food in stead
P.S. though I was gonna give them another go before naming and shaming, they are supposed to be a body repair shop, and the car should of come back better than new (being an Alfa!) so if your insurer suggests you take it to Barnet body repairs in Potters bar
, maybe ask for an alternative repairer.
Eyeore aint got nowt on me right now
And can you believe - 0.3hrs to check it (yeh right) and 0.5 to test drive (for a body repair????) they just went for a blat.
sorry, needed to get things off my chest - cant tell my mum, as she doesn't know (cos she'd only worry about the £250 xs i might not get back)
