156 V6 2.5 Miss fire between 2500 - 3500 and flat?????
I am new to this site but have found it a great help already and hope some of you can help me with this problem I have on my 156 V6 2.5 2000reg.
I replaced the alternator recently and after completing the works the car has developed what seems like a bad miss fire between 2500 - 3200rpm. Its really bad when cold gets a bit better as it warms up. Even after 3200rpm it is flat, I put my foot down and it does not pull like it used to.
When I replaced the alternator I had the battery disconnected and am wondering if I need to reset the ECU or did I damage the lambda sensor when I was working on it, that kind of thing.
Any help is much appreciated
One more thing the radio a alpine 932 needs a code, is it right I have to send this to get decoded on a bench?!?!?
