Dont think anything beats buying a new car, I put a deposit down on the alfa 147 on sunday. So happy with it, even though there were a few of problems with the dealer/service history (when isnt there), all seems to be sorted now, however...
the car has done 65000,
the cambelt was changed at 36,000 in Late 2007
i know alfa advise you to get it changed at 36,000 or every 3 years (which ever comes first)
So do I let the garage change the cambelt and service it as a price of £250 (the dealer quoted me), or do i wait till the 72000 is up, then change it. bearing in mind i only do about 6000 a year so could be another year before i hit the 72.
is it that important to change it every third year or could i get away with waiting till the second 36,000 comes.
hope that makes sense

Reason: added date of cambelt change
