I don't mean to upset anyone, just wanted to share my latest finding.
Car's been sitting since December 5th. There are currently -11 C outside and temperature went as low as -17 C since I went on vacation.
Today I went and tried to start it. Put key to MAR, waited for the injector light to go off, key back to OFF; back to MAR, waited for the injector light to go off again, started the engine. It turned over for 2-3 seconds (while I was performing some very condensed praying) and then it fired. All was running fine, so I stopped it after a few minutes, as I was too tired to go for a drive now.
Frankly speaking, I'm impressed. Looks like Alfas do offer some nice surprises from time to time.
