147 indicator issue

A 147 i unused for a few months fired up fine but for a couple of mins the front lower indicators failed to work (both sides). They then started working.Yesterday a clutch was replaced and now its up and running again no front indicators. The wiring in the front bumper and bulbs have been checked. Before i go any further any ideas?

I now have this problem. I fitted my new GTA style headlights last weekend which involved removing the front bumber and disconnecting the indicators.

Now they seem to work one day but the next they don't. I then pull the unit out and disconnect/reconnect it and it then works again for a while.

Any clues? Have I damaged the connector some how? Anywhere I should check?
