Doesn't start as in "spins over but won't catch", or "doesn't turn over" ?
If its the former, does it seem to spin faster than usual......if so, bad news as the belt may have snapped.
If the latter, you may be in luck, and when you jerked the engine as you stalled it you may have broken / disturbed the engine earth strap. To check this, connect a jump lead from the negative terminal of the battery to somewhere on the engine block or head.....if it starts then -check the existing earth to gearbox earth lead.....
